You Are Not Alone

You Are Not Alone

Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin. Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. (Heb 4:14-16)

Jesus came to experience first-hand what we experience.

He faced temptations like us.

He was hungry and tired.

He spent many lonely nights by Himself.

He faced the same struggles we face daily.

He knows what it is like to bear all kinds of responsibility – family, financial, friendship.

He knows how heavy a burden you are carrying.

You are not alone in your struggles.  Jesus understands.

Sometimes we feel so burdened.

Sometimes we feel sad.

Sometimes we want to give up.

Sometimes we feel so lonely.

We need someone who understands us.  Jesus understands.

Jesus came for this very reason.

He came that He might experience what we are going through.

He came to carry our burdens.

Cast your burdens upon Him.  He is capable of dealing with our burdens.

He knows how to solve our problems.  He encountered those problems.

He even went to the cross to experience pain, insults, and death.

He is our Great High Priest.  He represents us before our Heavenly Father.

He prays for us.

He is with you every moment, even right now.

He waits for you to come to Him, the Source of Life and Joy.

Be encouraged.  Receive His grace and mercy today.
