The Will and the Power

The Will and the Power

For it is God who works in you both to will and to work for his good pleasure. (Phil 2:13)

God is daily at work in our lives.

He is molding us to become like His Son.

His power is available for us to have the will to do what pleases Him.

He moves in us to put our will into action.

This is how we work out our salvation.

The Lord has saved us. He has made us new creations. Our lives are changed.

We are to present a strong testimony to the world about the work that God has wrought in us.

We are not perfect yet. We are work-in-progress.

God is still at work in us.

Everyday, He is chipping away our sins, our faults, our shortcomings to carve our image.

But we have to cooperate with Him.

We cannot leave everything to Him.

For He has given us the will and the power to do what we need to do.

Don’t be deceived thinking you are powerless.

You have God-given strength and wisdom.

You are promised victory through Christ.

But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through or Lord Jesus Christ (1 Cor 15:57).

We are more than conquerors through Him who loved us (Rom 8:37).

Through Christ, we have the will and the power to do what is pleasing to Him.
