Pray With An Open Bible

Pray With An Open Bible

Beautiful girl

I will take my stand at my watchpost and station myself on the tower, and look out to see what He will say to me, and what I will answer concerning my complaint (Hab 2:1).

How do you pray?

What is your motive for that prayer? Why are you asking this thing from the Lord?

Do you have an answer from the Lord?

God’s Word is sufficient to give us answers to what we are seeking for.

Are you praying to get married? Are you praying that you might land that job? Are you praying for the Lord to provide you with money? Are you praying for healing?

Habakkuk was perplexed at what the Lord was about to do. He could not understand why God would allow such things to happen.

But he waited to see what the Lord will say to him.

In your prayers, search the Scriptures to see what the Lord says concerning your prayer request.

Most of the time, the answer is there.

If it is aligned with God’s Word, you can be assured that He promises to answer that prayer.

God told Habakkuk to “write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so that he may run who reads it” (2:2).

He was told to write the message clearly so that the courier could understand the message and carry it correctly to others.

Write down your prayer requests to remind yourself. When you receive God’s answer, you can share the blessing of it with others.

Pray with an open Bible.  Ask God to show you His answer there.
