You Will See God When You Trust Him
For the LORD is righteous; he loves righteous deeds; the upright shall behold his face. (Psalm 11:7)
As king, David faced many critics, threats, accusers, and enemies.
There is also the possibility that he might be assassinated.
Some advised him to run away for safety.
His kingdom had become shaky (v 3). Even the righteous were helpless.
But God sees everything that is happening (v 4). He will protect the righteous.
David searches his own heart because the Lord examines the hearts of all – His people and the wicked (v 4a – 5).
He will punish the wicked (v 6).
Examine your heart and get right with God. If there is sin, repent and turn to the Lord.
Be on God’s side. Don’t be tempted to fall away.
Keep trusting the Lord though injustice increases.
You will see His glory (v 7b).
