His Faithful Love
“In all these things we are more than victorious through Him who loved us.” Romans 8:37.
Just about everything in life is subject to change without notice.
Your friend can become your enemy.
Your home situation can turn intense.
Your knee can give out in a basketball game.
Only one thing is guaranteed to remain the same.
There is one constant–one thing you can count on, now and forever:
The unfailing love of God.
No matter what your situation is right now-
– whether you’re healthy or suffering from disease,
– on top of the world or feeling like a failure,
– victorious in Christ or dealing with the consequences of sin,
– God loves you, no matter what.
His love isn’t altered by your circumstances.
It is steady and unchanging.
If there is anything the Bible makes crystal clear-
– it is that God loves his children.
The apostle Paul tried to imagine a way that God’s love could fail, but he couldn’t think of one.
The psalmist could proclaim, “Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His faithful love endures forever.” Psalm 106:1.
You may feel at times that God couldn’t possibly love you.
You may wonder why a loving God would allow you to go through difficult times.
But always remember that God’s love is not determined by your state of mind or your current situation.
Base your security on this one unchanging truth:
Nothing can separate you from God’s love.
If God’s love cannot change-
– how does that change your outlook on your future?
