It Will Cost You
Many people profess Christ, go to church and are baptized.
But true life under the lordship of Christ?
Jesus said that road is narrow, and “there are few who find it.” Matthew 7:14.
Why?
Because following Jesus comes with a cost.
It will cost you your sins, because you must be willing to confess them and turn from them.
It won’t exempt you from troubles and problems and pressures.
But you will have a new strength and a new confidence and a new power to overcome.
Are you on the narrow road that leads to eternal life?
You may be a member of a church.
You may be a Sunday school teacher.
But if you’re not sure you’re on the highway to Heaven, come to Christ today.
“Heavenly Father, thank You for making the way for my eternal salvation through Your Son’s atoning death, burial and resurrection. May I never take Your grace for granted. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.”
