Divine Intervention
A sense of doom and dismay has settled upon the hearts of people today.
We see it in the news headlines.
We see it in the deep lines that furrow troubled brows.
We see it in the purposelessness of living.
The Bible tells of a bridge of faith that reaches from the valley of despair to the high hills of glorious hope in Christ.
“But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. … That He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity.” Ephesians 2:13,16.
We need Divine intervention if we are to find peace and purpose.
You cannot overcome the habits and break the chains that bind you without Christ.
Only through the cross will you find the path to spiritual maturity.
Will you resolve to grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ in 2021?
“Heavenly Father, I long to be transformed more into Your likeness. Help me pursue more of what You have created me for. Guide me into Your ways. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.”
