His Presence is Enough
Where shall I go from your Spirit? Or where shall I flee from your presence?
If I ascend to heaven, you are there! If I make my bed in Sheol, you are there!
If I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,
even there your hand shall lead me, and your right hand shall hold me. (Ps 139:7-10)
Have you ever tried to do something you are unsure of? Or going some place you have never been before? Do you feel anxious?
What if an expert tells you he will come and help you do it? Or be your guide to the new place?
It gives you confidence because you know he will help you to do it. Or will show you the way so that you will not be lost.
God promises to be with us all the time.
Jesus promises us, “I will be with you always, even to the end of the age” (Matt 28:20).
He also promises to never leave us nor forsake us (Heb 13:5).
This promise is unconditional.
We need not fulfill any condition for Him to keep His promise.
God is always with us. He knows everything about us. He knows what will happen tomorrow.
We are safe in His arms. He will carry us through every affliction, pain, or difficulty.
We don’t know what may happen next. We might succeed or we might fail.
But God is with us. That is enough.
Because He knows what is best. He controls every element in the universe.
He will work out everything for our good and for His glory.
Surrender everything to Him. Live in His presence every moment.
