He is Praying for You
He is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them (Heb 7:25).
Jesus offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for our sins. Thus, He is able to save us to the uttermost – forever.
He is ascended to Heaven and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.
What is He now doing?
He doesn’t save us and leave us like that. He is now praying for us.
Every high priest has come and gone. But Jesus’ priesthood is indestructible.
He positions Himself before God and declares our righteous standing because of His sacrifice and our faith in Him.
He prays perfectly and His prayers are perfectly answered.
Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need (Heb 4:16).
Whatever circumstance we are in, whatever need we have, whatever pain we are experiencing, whatever temptation we are struggling with, whatever doubt we have, whatever enemy we are facing, Jesus is praying for us.
You can live with confident assurance that Jesus has you in His mind. He is praying for you.
