Just a Prayer Away

Just a Prayer Away

I will go before you and level the exalted places, I will break in pieces the doors of bronze and cut through the bars of iron, I will give you the treasures of darkness and the hoards in secret places, that you may know that it is I, the LORD, the God of Israel, who call you by your name.  (Isa 45:2-3)

Paul did much of his writing from a prison cell. Maybe you also feel like you are in a prison of sorts today with every door shut in your face.

Maybe you are in a prison of despair and doubt. Perhaps you just got back to the doctor and received a bad report, or are dreading a visit this week. Maybe you are in a financial prison of debt or loss. Maybe you are in a domestic prison of abuse and you feel there is no way
out. Maybe you are in a wrong relationship prison from which you cannot escape. Maybe you are in a prison of an addiction to drugs, defiling habits or demonic activities.

“No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.” (1 Cor 10:13)

There is a way out for you.
God is still on His throne.
He hears and answers every prayer.

Victory over your situation is just a prayer away!
The circumstances may or may not change, but your perspective and attitude will change as you begin to pray and praise God.

You and I don’t have a need that God cannot meet.

Pray this prayer today:
“Father God, I need You. I need You to forgive me where I have failed You.
I need You to change my heart and strengthen my faith.
Change my attitude from fear to faith, from jealousy to joy and from worry to worship.
Uphold me according to Your word, that I may live: and let me not be ashamed of my
hope in You and in Your Word.
Protect me and deliver me. I love You.
In Jesus’ name. Amen.”
