Life Follows Faith
A nobleman’s son became ill, so he sought Jesus to heal him. When he found Jesus, he asked Him to come see his son. Instead of going to him, Jesus healed him by His word. And John 4:50 says, “And the man believed the word that Jesus had spoken unto him, and he went his way.” Not a wonder, not a sign, not a vision, not angels playing tic-tac-toe on his ribs, or cold chills going up and down his spine. The man believed Jesus’ Word and went on his way.
Faith-
– sees the invisible!
– believes the incredible!!
– and receives the impossible!!!
Doubt sees the obstacles; faith sees the way.
Doubt sees the darkness; faith sees the day.
Doubt dreads to take a step; faith soars on high.
Doubt questions who believes; faith answers I believe.
Life follows faith like night follows day.
There is no life without faith.
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” (Hebrews 11:1)
Ask God to forgive you for the times when you have doubted Him, when you have not trusted Him, when you have chosen to believe something other than what He says. Ask Him to help you believe!
“Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!” (Mark 9:24)
